Ecomshare has expanded the basic name, address and contact information to also support multiple images, restaurant menus, service offerings, special offers, coupons, plus current lodging availability/promotions. All data is fully indexed for ease in searching. Visitors can even search for specialty menu items or a favorite bottle of wine! Different areas of the website can also present different business descriptions allowing a full service business to develop a specific tailored message in the wedding area as opposed to the regular business listing area for example. If required, display templates can be configured to adjust depending on business category or participation level.

To ease the updating process, businesses are given access to a protected area to change their information. The management areas have no software requirements as all information is managed through our easy to use web interfaces. Businesses can upload special offers, change out logos seasonally, and otherwise participate in the site at their convenience.

CVB staff have their own business management area allowing easy sorting and listing management. Staff can designate which items are manageable by businesses and which can only be performed by an administrator. You are able to control image standards on the server side, freeing businesses from needing to learn about graphic manipulation before participating. Staff can also add, edit and delete site categories at any time through the category management area. Additional keyword fields further increase searching accuracy, for instance a search for "jacuzzi" can then return businesses in the spa category.

Facilitating a comprehensive business listings with product and service information increases the chances that visitors can easily find what they need from your site. Additionally it increases customer retention. Furthermore, it also allows businesses without websites or businesses lacking website management tools the means to easily and affordably make changes to a "mini website" associated with the CVB's well trafficked website.
